Leaders
Our Group is led by a dedicated team of volunteer Leaders. They are tasked with planning and running the weekly program, as well as weekend activities, camps and events. All uniformed Leaders are required to undertake substantial training as part of approved Scouts Australia requirements. The suitability of Leaders is assessed through training courses, interviews, reference checks and police checks.

About Rochester Scout Group
History
1st Rochester Scout Group first formed in 1916 and has a rich history in the community. After becoming inactive for six years, it was re-established in 2024 as a satellite group of 1st Echuca, and is now operating as Rochester Scout Group as of late 2025.

The Group operated in the Scout Hall until its temporary closure, and due to flood damage from the 2022 flood, the Group is currently operating out of the 4Rs (Rochester Racecourse Recreation Reserve).
